The Club

Established in 1985 Carrigaline Tennis Club is well known for its friendly and welcoming atmosphere. The Club is situated on the Ferney Road, Kilnagleary, Carrigaline and has five outdoor floodlit artificial grass Tennis Courts and a Clubhouse with Changing Facilities, Function/Meeting Room and Kitchen.

All levels of Tennis ability are catered for Beginner, Social and Competitive. The Club holds many internal Club Competitions and Social Activities throughout the year. While the Club continues to excel in competition, its primary focus is Social Tennis.

From Club Nights to morning Cardio Tennis, a busy and varied schedule of Social Events is maintained throughout the year for Senior and Junior members of all standards.

Playing Options

Carrigaline Tennis Club have a range of playing options for you and your Family. 

If you are an Adult beginner, an extremely popular 'Club Night' runs every Thursday from 8pm. This is a fun event where you get to play different people of similar ability in 15-minute slots. This is an ideal way to get practice and meet other club members in a social environment. 

For Juniors, there is Match Play every Saturday  to get familiar with playing the game.  Further details in the Junior Section.

If you are the more competitive type, there are many competitions run both internally in the club and externally by Munster Branch and Tennis Ireland. These can be found on the Tennis Ireland Tournament Website 

There is also a very active Social Committee who organise a number of Social Events throughout the year. Once you have joined up you will be updated by email on all events within the Club, unless you choose the opt-out option.

Court Bookings

An online Court Booking System is in operation at Carrigaline Tennis Club. When you join up and pay the membership relevant to you or your family, your email will be linked to the eBookingOnline System. 

Coaching

The Club offers an extensive coaching program for Juniors and a range of group and one to one options for Senior members. 

All enquiries for coaching need to go through Head Coach Cian Blake.  Cian will direct you as to the best option for you or your family member. Cian can be contacted on 087 9762105.

Note -  Coaching Groups are for those who just want to play in a fun environment and Squads are geared for Juniors who are keen to play at Competition Level.

Main Club Rules to Note

  • You MUST be a Member in order to play Tennis in Carrigaline Tennis Club.
  • Access to the Club is by Electronic Key Fob only. This is included in the cost of a Family Membership.
  • A non-member parent may buy a fob for their junior member (cost €10) once they sign a form accepting responsibility on behalf of that junior.
  • Adult priority times are from 6pm to 10pm Monday to Thursday.
  • Weekend Peak Hours for Adults are 10am to 1pm.
  • Priority court bookings are charged for by the hour. Again, these times are 6 to 10pm Monday to Thursday. The charge is 2 euro and is split between the names on the booking. Adults Members can book and play for two consecutive peak hours on any one day.  But are limited to book/play in three time slots in any one five day peak period. Off peak times are free of charge – including Friday.
  • If you need to cancel a booking, please do so as soon as possible to give others a chance to re-book the court. You are refunded one euro from any Priority booking charge once you cancel.
  • Tokens for lights are €5 each and can be bought at Kilmoney stores. 1 token gives you 30 minutes on courts 1-4 and 60 minutes on Court 5.
