Junior Open Tournament

The Carrigaline Junior Open Tournament ran from 2nd to the 8th August 2020. We ran a very successful Junior Open last week with Juniors travelling from all over the country to Carrigaline Tennis Club to take part. A big thank you to all the parents/members who volunteered as Welcome Officers, Court Supervisors etc. Well done to all who took part and congrats to all the winners. See Facebook for pictures from the event and keep an eye out for an article in the Carrigdhoun in the coming weeks.

A huge thank you also to Maite and Darragh from The Wanderbox Coffee truck They parked up outside the clubhouse for the week and served delicious tasty treats and Badger and Dodo coffee to the spectators, parents, volunteers, tournament organisers and of course the players!
Details of Winners can be found on the Tennis Ireland Tournament Website

Junior Closed

The Club hopes to run a Junior Closed Event for all Junior and Juvenile members. Again, these are not as straight forward as before but it is believed that there should be a way to run an Event safely to bring that competitive element back.
There is a lot of work going on in the background to bring back as many activities and competitions as we used to once have, but this can only be done once the safety of our members, coaches and their families can be protected. Be assured that once we have finalised any details on these or any other events, we will communicate to our members. In the meantime, if you have any other queries or concerns, please don't hesitate to get in touch by email - carrigalinetennisjuniornews@gmail.com
