Carrigaline Tennis Club have recently hosted another successful Junior Open Tournament event thanks to the generous sponsorship and continued partnership with main sponsor, Ballyseedy Café.
The Tournament, which attracted entries from across the country, offered both singles and doubles events for competitors ranging from U12 to U18 age groups. The club ran separate grade
tournaments at each age group to provide opportunities for all members to enter and compete. The quality of the tennis played over the course of the week was exceptional, with many top 10 ranked
players in the country competing.
We would like to congratulate all the Carrigaline club members that competed in the tournament, particularly David Cotter who reached the U18 doubles final. You have all been fantastic ambassadors for the club and we are delighted to see all that training pay off.
The club thanks Cian Blake, Ken Murphy and all of the junior committee for organizing the event.
We thank all of the club members, parents and coaches who volunteered their time during the tournament week, to help with court supervision and kitchen duties. We are also grateful to event
partners Laya Healthcare and CO-OP Superstores Carrigaline for their support. Finally, we wish all of our juniors the best of luck during the Summer tournament season.
