Thursday Internal League
The Thursday League commenced on Thursday, 15th February and ran for three weeks, the fourth being abandoned due to Snow!
The Club will again be running a Thursday Night Internal League this season. The League will take place on the following dates, Thursday 15th February, Thursday 22nd February, Thursday 1st March 1st and Thursday 8th March.
The schedule for each Thursday will be published beforehand, with the first matches starting at 7pm.
As usual the League will be run on a Team basis and will be open to players of all grades. Games will be drawn to make them as evenly matched as possible.

Entry Fee is €10.00
Entry is open to every Senior Member of the Club
Players must commit to four weeks. If you can’t make a night you must get a sub of your own grade to play and contact the organisers to let them know.
Numbers are limited to 60 players.
The closing date is Friday 9th February at 8pm.
Women’s Little Christmas
Calling all ladies !
There will be a Women’s Little Christmas Social Blitz on next Saturday night, 6th January, starting at 8pm.
No cost, just bring your own refreshments and nibbles.

Hot Toddy Tournament
The Annual Hot Toddy Tournament took place on Wednesday 27th December 2017.
A great afternoon, with nearly thirty members participating.

The Annual Turkey Tournament took place on Thursday 14th December 2017 with 60 members participating.
A great night was had by all, Festive Garb was adorned and a great selection of Nibbles and Refreshments were available to keep players warm between games.
The winner of the prize for the Most Festively Dressed was Louise Cogan who brought her Turkey with her. Anne Halton was the Leading Lady not on a winning team and Mark Rhys Davis won the prize for the Leading Man not on a winning team.
The winning team was ‘Lords a Leaping’ – Fiona, Liz, Noel, Emily and Brendan. Runners-up were ‘Drummers Drumming’ – Karl, Maria, Ann, Kay and Lorraine.
